English to Italian translations [PRO] Medical
English term or phrase:water pills
I know they are Diuretics. does anybody know if there is an equivalent term in Italian?
Explanation: I have a feeling that in common parlance Italian employs words which are more "technical" than their English counterparts. Example: "pain killers" ma in italiano si dice comunemente "antidolorifici, analgesici"
"Binge eating" = bulimia.
The same, I believe, may apply to "water pills".
