si tratta della parte ventrale e caudale del cranio.
"Nel cranio possiamo individuare una parte dorsale e rostrale, la scatola cranica, ed una ventrale e caudale, il massiccio facciale. La scatola cranica è, nell’insieme, costituita da una base ed una volta rispettivamente costituite, l’una da parte dell’osso occipitale, parte del temporale, dello sfenoide dell’etmoide, del frontale; e l’altra da parte dell’occipitale e delle ossa temporali, dalle parietali e da parte dello sfenoide e dell’etmoide.

Quindi, il massiccio frontale altro non è che il frontal bone del cranio.

Explanation:
a ripensarci, e dai tanti altri riferimenti rinvenuti in rete, non credo che in questo caso si faccia riferimento al "fontal bone" del cranio. Si tratta semplicemente di una CT del viso, come ha detto Laura. Non sono tuttavia convinto che "facial bones CT" sia corretto dal punto di vista della terminologia medica.
