For obvious reasons, drug companies make very sure that their positive studies are published in medical journals and doctors know about them, while the negative ones often languish unseen within the FDA, which regards them as proprietary and therefore confidential. This practice *greatly biases* the medical literature, medical education, and treatment decisions.

L'articolo parla del fatto che le case farmaceutiche per far approvare un farmaco devono presentare alla FDA due trial clinici positivi; ma di fatto ne possono sponsorizzare quanti ne vogliono, e magari ne hanno fatti altri 8 con esiti negativi (che devono cmq presentare alla FDA, ma che non vengono considerati, né pubblicati perché ritenuti riservati). E ciò sfalsa i risultati reali. - Non trovo un verbo che mi convince per bias che stia bene con i complementi oggetto che seguono (es. pregiudicano o introducono bias non mi sembrano adeguati).

"imparzialità" per rendere il concetto di "bias", ma secondo me ci potrebbero stare anche credibilità/attendibilità

in questo caso calza benissimo anche il tuo "pregiudica"
