Che differenza c'è tra le due figure professionali?
Pensavo che le practice nurses fossero infermiere specializzate. O sono le infermiere che operano negli ambulatori e le specialists nurses sono le infermiere specializzate?

Ecco le descrizioni

Practice nurses work in General Practitioner (GP) practices providing assessment, screening, treatment, care and education to patients from all sections of the community, from infants through to the elderly.

A specialist nurse (SN) specialises in a particular area of nursing, caring for patients suffering from diseases such as cancer, diabetes or Parkinson\'s disease, viruses such as HIV/AIDS or other conditions such as chronic heart failure. An SN provides direct patient care and support and can play a vital role in helping improve quality of life by educating the patient on the management and control of symptoms and offering support following diagnosis. In many cases, the involvement and intervention of an SN can prevent patient re-hospitalisation.
