Music
English term or phrase: working men's club

Then began the kind of treadmill of gigging. On those days the agents really worked you - three working men's clubs per night.

Siamo in Inghilterra, by the way.

Italian translation:locali (o anche pub)
Explanation:

Explanation:
**working men's club**
Social club set up in the 19th century to cater for the education and recreation of working men. Today the clubs have few limitations on membership and are entirely social.
Educational institutes for working men were a feature of most industrial towns in Britain by the early 19th century. In 1852 the Collonade Working-mens's Club in London became the first to provide purely recreational facilities. The Reverend Henry Solley established the Working Men's Club and Institute Union in 1862, a forerunner of the national organization to which today's clubs belong.

ogni notte (si doveva lavorare) in tre club notturni

Explanation:
Rephrasing:
we were working on three men's clubs each night.

Traduzione letterale, per capire meglio il senso:
"Tre, lavoranti club notturni, per notte"

Source Italian by birth, American by schooling and education.
