In un documento in cui si parla della programmazione delle attività dei medici di un reparto, vengono citate:
on-call services, office activities, operating room activities, etc.
Subito pensavo che le "office activities" fossero sempliciemente "attività d'ufficio" che i medici erano tenuti a sbrigare, poi mi è sorto il dubbio che office (in US English) possa essere anche "ambulatorio" in un contesto di questo tipo.
Infatti, ad esempio, in una frase leggo "at this state patients can book their office visits" (ho pensato che potrebbero essere le "visite ambulatoriali", per questo mi è venuto il dubbio).
Qualcuno mi può confermare (o smentire)?

Credo che nel mio testo, a seconda dei vari contesti presenti, significasse a volte "studio medico" altre volte proprio "ambulatorio" (quindi visite ambulatoriali, ecc.)

agree  luskie: a questo punto lo sai che penso che avete ragione voi? l'elenco sarebbe più 'coerente' se prevedesse tutte cose da fare 'fuori stanza'... e tornerebbero perfettamente anche le visite da prenotare!
