Il sottobicchiere di solito e\' \"coaster\", ma Laura ha ragione nel senso che e\' sul tovagliolino si puo\' appoggiare il bicchiere, anche se lo si usa poi come tovagliolo.

agree  Marisapad: concordo in particolare con i piccoli tovagliolini NON di carta, bensì di stoffa, di solito molto colorati e sfangiati, il mio barista quando fa i cocktail li chiama "tovagliolini" e NESSUNO li usa come tovaglioli.

Per quanto riguarda l'Italia non saprei cosa ti da il barista, ma beverage napkin non 'e un coaster (di cartone, carta, o altro materiale) ne' un tovagliolino di stoffa.
