Primati Explanation: la cosa è semplice: i Primati sono costituiti dalle scimmie antropomorfe (quelle più grandi, prive di coda, come i gorilla e i gibboni) e dalle scimmie non antropomorfe (più piccole, dotate di coda). Quindi io tradurrei così: i Primati sono costituiti dalle scimmie antropomorfe, altamente intelligenti, senza coda e con gli arti superiori (13 specie in tutto, fra cui scimpanzé, gorilla, gibboni e orangotanghi), e dalle scimmie non antropomorfe, più piccole e senza coda. In italiano non si pone il problema della confusione fra "ape" e "monkey", perché entrambe le famiglie sono dette scimmie. 10 anni di redazione di libri per bambini.... |
