In March 1965, by the enjoying only moderate success, The Stones pulled their Daimler into a late night petrol station in the East End of London. After filling up Bill felt nature’s call and relieved himself against a wall. It was arguably the most crucial decision of his career. The others followed his initiative and were spotted by Eric Lavender, a passer-by who took down their registration number and reported them. The Stones were taken to court where the magistrate found them ‘guilty of behaviour not becoming to young gentlemen’. They were each fined the princely sum of £5, but it was to late – they were beyond reproach. From that day on The Rolling Stones’ rebellious bad-boy rock ‘n’ roll formula was complete.
Per "to be beyond reproach" ho trovato "essere perfetti, irreprensibili".
Grazie x parere
