interpolare - introdurre in un testo altrui parole o frasi proprie, sbadatamente o anche volutamente, allo scopo di completare, chiarire o alterare il significato.
interpolazione - la parola, la frase interpolata. Es.: testo gremito di evidenti interpolazioni.
Credo questo sia proprio il senso della tua frase, ad esempio:
"...avrebbe dovuto farsi avanti urlando l'interpolazione...". (Ho provato a girare la frase usando il verbo "interpolare", per es.: "interpolando a voce alta", ma poi sembra che l'interpolazione sia scritta dall'attore invece che dall'autore/regista/chicchessia che dà le istruzioni.

Explanation:
Sono d'accordo con Floriana ma il termine 'interpolare' per intervenire e' poco frequente.
Lo userei solo per ottenere un effetto particolare (a seconda dello stile generale del testo), altrimenti userei semplicemente intervenire, inserire o interrompere.
