è una specificazione


Explanation:
io credo che dopo US EPA, dovrebbero esserci i ":" che introducono una specificazione. in inglese però i ":" non si usano quasi mai e quindi la frase che segue penso abbia il solito valore di una frase italiana dopo i due punti.
