English term or phrase: E-mail
I would like to know which one is more commonly used in Italian speech - "e-mail" or "posta elettronica" or maybe something else?

Thank you!

Italian translation:posta elettronica, e-mail
Explanation:
The translation is 'posta elettronica' but you can also use 'e-mail'. It's a term that is becoming a standard, like 'file'(wrong=archivio), 'computer' (wrong=elaboratore) or 'mouse' (wrong=topo).

both

Explanation:
I might add that e-mail is more often used together with "indirizzo", i.e. you ask for the "indirizzo e-mail" to someone else.
Generally speaking, posta elettronica is probably more wide-spread (even if Italian is more and more influenced by the English language).

Email - posta elettronica

Explanation:
They are equivalent. If the term comes up many times in your text you might use it alternatively. Maybe you should use "posta elettronica" first", so to introduce the Italian term.

posta elettronica

Explanation:
