NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, by an order dated 16 November 2007 made in the above matter, the High Court of England and Wales (the “Court”) has directed a meeting (the “Scheme Meeting”) of certain creditors (as referred to below and as more particularly described in the Scheme) (the “Scheme Creditors”) of xxxx Bank (“xxxx”) to be convened for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving (with or without modification) the scheme of arrangement (the “Scheme”) proposed to be made between xxxx and such Scheme Creditors. ....
If approved by the requisite majority of Scheme Creditors, the Scheme will be subject to the subsequent sanction of the Court. All Scheme Creditors are entitled to attend the English Court hearing in person or through Counsel to support or oppose the sanctioning of the Scheme.
