Dwarfs from the comic albums (and tv series) that bear their name ("de smurfen" = plural). Created by the Belgian autor Peyo. They have blue bodies and wear white bonnet and white pants. The "grote smurf" (= sort of the king) wears a red bonnet and pants.

It might be my computer settings but the displayed response is unpronouncable to me. Phonetic sounds might have made this easier to understand. Anyway, the term I found somewhere else and that is more convenient to me is "sumafu".
