gunji kichi
Explanation:
kichi 基地 is the word used most often for "base" in Japanese

Military is "guntai" 軍隊 in Japanese.
So to say "Military Base" in Japanese, "gunji kichi" 軍事基地 or "guntai no kichi" 軍隊の基地 would be most appropriate.

If for example, you want to say "the US military base" in Japanese, it could be translated as "bei-gun-kichi" 米軍基地

bei- America
gun - military, the "tai" from guntai is not neccesary in this usage.
kichi- base

other examples: ground-troop Military base -> riku-gun-kichi 陸軍基地

hope this helps
