We have many Chinese imposters travelling from Europe to the United States. In order to satisfy ourselves that the person is indeed Japanese, we would like to show them the above phrase - if they comply all is OK. However, if they are completely puzzled, they are clearly imposters.

Roomaji-reading is: kurejitto-kaado,
oyobi,shoji-kin-no-teiji-o-onegai-itashimasu. 'Kurejitto-kaado' is the English loanword. 'oyobi' is the formal word meaning 'and'. 'shoji-kin' menas 'any cash you have with you'. 'teiji-o-onegai-itashimasu' is the polite expression equivalent to 'Can you please show'.
