English to Japanese translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: I love you
Saying I love you to someone
Matoya
Japanese translation: 愛しています Aishite Imasu
Explanation:
The translation of I Love You is usually 'Ai Shite Imasu' pronounced Ai She Tay Ee Ma Su. But this is a very formal way of saying it. Many women will say 'Ai Shite Ru' and many men, 'Ai Shiteru Yo'. Younger people often say "Dai Suki" which actually means, 'I like you alot' but often carries the connotation of 'I love you'
Hope that helped
