nani shite ru ka? what are you doin?
nani shite-ru no? (" rather soft, feminine.)
nani shiteru? (". You have to have rising intonation to make sure that this is understood as a question).
Nani wo shite iru ka? (What are you doing? As it would be in a grammar book).
Nani wo shite imasu ka (" formal)
Dougen shiou? (" in Middle Kyushuu dialect)
dou shita (no)? (what's the matter?)
