Ludovicus could refer to a Louis given the 'Fleur de Lys' design type in the middle or maybe refers to Ludvig of Bavaria?These 'coins' or buttons with these designs are turning up all over the place and even just now on the little island I live on. Most that I have seen are some cheap alloy metal very light but there are some old ones around too and I wonder if these are used by a group of people to signify something something to others? I have no idea. |
