apsispręsti; ryžtis, pasiryžti
Explanation:
Apsispręsti; ryžtis, pasiryžti

Apsisprendziau (pasiryzau) pameginti patekti i softbolo komanda.

Softball does not exist in English-Lithuanian dictionaries. In Russian it's ńīōņįīė, so, I reckon, 'softbolas' is bearable.

-> Maybe. The ball is soft, though, and I think that makes all the difference. Well, maybe not all. I was thinking along this line: if football is futbolas and not some koju kamuolys, then softball can be softbolas.
