vascular access graft
arterinė-veninė jungtis

Explanation:

I whote, that the text mayby is about dialysis, dialysis patiets, aparature, proceuderes relaited to dialysis. It is not "word-to-word" traslation, but according explanation you provoded I can see it is that term (arterinė-veninė jungtis). And this term is used by nefrologists in Lithuania. A synonym is "arterioveninis šuntas".

Kristina wrote, that my term is not correct because this graft (for dialysis) mainly ir formed using natural grafts (veins), and she provided web page. And in that page it was said that artificial grafts may be used when natural one are not available. But this not contradict to my term. I wrote a comment for the term provided by her, that this term is too general (krajagyslės protezas - vascular graft) and does not reflect the purpose - vascular acces for dialysis procedures.

Asker: thank you. i do not understand lithuanian. what did you write in your explanation ?

Asker: could you please write the translation in capital letters ?

Asker: thank you for your kind responses

Asker: hi Giedrius. could you explain in english what you wrote: kraujagyslės protezas - kai protezuojama kraujagyslė.

The translation "kraujagyslės protezas" (=vascular graft) refers to an artificial tube, while the "arterinė-veninė jungtis" refers to a fistula, which is natural.
I am not 200% sure though, so let’s wait for other colleagues comments.
