English term or phrase: crowdsale
I found one scholar who used 'pencarian sumber kelompok' for 'crowdsourcing'. So, in the case of 'crowdsale' the most preferred translation will be 'jualan kelompok' or 'penawaran jualan kelompok' because it is related to initial coin offering? Or should I add 'jualan kelompok (dalam talian)' or 'jualan kelompok (digital)' to stress the technology side?

crowdsale (tawaran/penawaran token)
Explanation:
Rationale:

1. Cryptocurrency terms/coinages are so new that it is best to leave them in their original English, with the translation or a short expalanation in paranthesis, due to their potentially being used/accepted ubiquitously as is.

2. If a translation is still preferred, then the way to go is to translate the sense instead of doing a literal translation, which may come out ridiculous at best and at worst, misleading.

3. Not for this context in particular because I think it is more important to establish in the translation what is being sold/offered than the method [in this case a promise not unlike a digital poker chip], but the word crowd in terms such as crowdsourcing (penyumberan ramai) & crowdfunding (pendanaan ramai) should be translated as ramai [of which this term is an offshoot] and not the misleading kumpulan.
