OK, put in other ways, the meaning of "fry" here is basically:

1. finished!
2. dead!
3. toast!

It can also mean that the person is going to the electric chair. "Frying" in the electric chair, i.e. sentenced to death in the chair.

It's hard to come up with a Malay equivalent. Several possibilities for "fry" with a similar sinister meaning:

1. hangus!
2. mampus!
3. binasa!

I don't have formal references, mostly my experience reading tons of crime and mystery novels.
