Malay translation:injakan bebas, jarak injakan dan pakem
Explanation:
free play, stroke and operation

free play = how much you can push (the brake/clutch pedal before it engages.

stroke = the distance the pedal travels while brake/clutch engages

operation = whether the brake/clutch works

in case of the parking brake, it would be pull instead of push (for manual transmission cars).

In Bahasa Indonesia, the translation would be something along these lines:

- memeriksa rem, rem tangan, dan kopling untuk pre' [from the Dutch "vrij"] (injakan bebas), jarak injakan, dan pakem (pakem actually refers to brake operation; for a clutch the word is "masuk"/engages or other similar terms

Hope this helps

Selamat Hari Raya Idulfitri dan Selamat Tahun Baru

Selamat Hari Raya and Happy New Year to you too, Eldira.

Although I can't use the translation (since Indonesian is different from Malay), the explanation helps a lot. Only that the 2nd term is "stole" and not "stroke".

Thanks for your help!
