Bramhachari / pravan

Bachelor has two different meanings in Marathi depending upon the context just like in English...

If the context is the marital status then the translation would be Bramhachari meaning Unmarried

If the context is Educatinal Status then The word Pranav means and expert in or of....

However the english word Bachelor is pretty commonly used as is in Marathi to describe one's degree e.g. BA Bachelor of arts, BSc Bachelor of Science etc.

By one meaning in Marathi it is "Padvidhar", by second it is "Avivahit".

In Marathi the word has got two meanings. One which is used for degrees is Padvidhar i.e. who ha got a "Padavi" or "Degree" in any Stream, for e.g. B.Com. That means he is Graduate of Commerce or in Marathi Vanijya Shakhecha Padvidhar.
By second meaning the person who is yet to get married is called Bachelor, i.e. "Avivahit" as "Unmarried".
As you have asked for Technical or Engg. the most correct meaning is Padavidhar or Graduate
