A field with a space or where an empty string '' (to single hypens, with nothing between) also appear to be blank, but are not so - technically. (null) should not be included in the Norwegian translation, as Null in Norwegian means Zero. Unless the target audience is higly technical personel with database knowledge. Alternativ: "standard passord er tomt." The argument for the latter is that many Norwegians may use "blanktegn" instead of "mellomrom" (Space), and therefore confuse this with "blankt". But I think that the audience for this text would easily understand "blankt". |
