Misery har ikke fått 5.1 kanals surroundlyd, og det er vel egentlig naturlig da heller ikke originalen hadde dette. Men, Dolby Digital 2.0 surround lyden her kommer allikevel greit fra det. Dette er en fronttung film, med mye dialog, og liten bruk av effekter.
