English to Norwegian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering
English term or phrase: mining industry
Hi,

I am building a mechanical dictionary/glossary for my clients in official Norwegian. Is there any simple electronic form of such dictionary available? I did some google search but had no luck. If you have such kind of dictionaries, is it possible to share with me? I really need help.

I am new to Proz. If this is not a good place to ask this question, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Michael

Explanation:
This is the best and the worst place - best, because it is full of professionals who know the answers, worst, because we are professionals who feel that if you do not know these answers and can not find dictionaries online, you should not be building any dictionaries for your client.

www.ordnett.no gives you a reasonable online dictionary at USD 50 per year, www.clue-international.com/ gives you more at a higher price. If you want more, tell your client to hire one of us!

Oh - and use the discussion forums. This one is for asking for translations for terms you cant find translations for - useful, but don't build full dictionaries this way.
