In addition, modeling of current sources (current conducting regions) is simpler with the scalar formulation. This is so because you can simply specify current source primitives (coils, bars, and so forth) in the proper locations to account for their magnetic field contribution.

Explanation:
"Strømkilde"-biten er grei. Det med "primitiver" er jeg ikke sikker på. Matematikkbegrep brukt om en spesiell type verdier i formler, så vidt jeg forstår. Det virker som om "primitiver" brukes på svensk, men eksempler på norsk har jeg ikke funnet noen steder, ei heller i "Klara's (sic) matematikkordliste" (se under). Men kanskje Klara kan hjelpe?

agree  Roald Toskedal: Ja, du er nok inne på det rette her! Har aldri sett 'primitiver' brukt i denne sammenhengen, men... Det er vel snakk om "komponenter" i en ekvivalent, forenklet krets iflg. Nortons eller Thevenins teoremer, vil jeg tro.
