English term or phrase: Play Up
A shortcut key on a DVD player (software). Pressing one key on the keyboard results in something called "Play Up". I have no idea what is meant by this.. anyone? It's not one of the usual (Play, Stop, Eject FF, Rewind), as they are all represented by other buttons.

Norwegian translation:Play Up
Explanation:
I believe this button is for starting play from any point on a track on DVD, it is used for precision out-takes, dubbing etc

Thank you for answering. You gave me an idea of what the button is for, and that was helpful.
