Nie potrafię wyobrazić sobie za bardzo tych multiple stairwells i co za tym idzie tego odniesienia do directional base. Czy ktoś już chodził po takich schodach??:) Nie wiem też na ile to ma znaczenie, że to jest stairwell (szyb klatki schodowej) a nie staircase (klatka schodowa)

Zaś co do tego 'stairwell' to albo jest to prawdopodobnie skrót myślowy, bo ostatecznie zarówno fizyczne rozmieszczenie tych klatek, jak i oznakowanie pięter należą do szybu klatki. Schody są jedynie wypełnieniem tego szybu ;-)
