English term or phrase: Book Interest

Pojawia się w instrukcji obsługi programu komputerowego, w którym tworzy się AFE (Authorization for Expenditure). Tutaj mam problem w ogóle z tymi wszystkimi rodzajami "Interest", bo nie mam pojęcia czy to chodzi o odsetki, czy o stopy procentowe... Dlatego kontekst dam dość duży:

Interest Class - This field is used to designate what type of interest is to be used. This field is also required and monitored by the Property Department.
a. Book Interest (BI) is calculated on any construction project over 1 million dollars.
b. Tax Interest (TI) is calculated immediately on any project for type "31", "32" or "34" type assets (land improvements, buildings, and railroad tracks). It is also calculated on any project that has an estimated completion date that is greater than 2 years from the authorized date. (Ex. AFE authorized on 1/3/03 and the estimated completion date is 2/3/05 etc).
c. Book and Tax interest (BT) would be generated if both of the above conditions were met. In other words if you had a 1 million dollar construction AFE that only had a one-year variance between authorized date and estimated completion date, it would generate book interest immediately but not tax interest except on 31, 32, or 34 type assets. If they changed the estimated completion date to a variance of 2 years or more it would generate tax interest from that point forward.
d. Foreign Interest (FI) is interest generated outside of ADM systems. If you’re entering an AFE into the Maximo system you should never select this value.
e. No interest (NI) would be on projects such as purchase of rail cars, barges etc that even though they are over 1 million dollars are not for construction projects.
