Wiem, ze termin general manager pojawił się już trzy razy, ale w tym kontekscie zgłupiałam:
Instead of leaders we usually talk about general managers. And there are two types. There are corporate bosses who have direct functional reports and those of course are general managers. But there are also corporate bosses with divisional or subsidiary general managers reporting to them. We call them the same thing.

Dyrektor generalny w tym kontekscie raczej nie ma szans. I "who is who"?

Określenie "kierownik funkcyjny" zdarzyło mi się widzieć, "podwładnego funkcyjnego" nie - myślę, że "bezpośredni podwładny" zupełnie wystarczy.
Dlaczego nie może być "dyrektor generalny działu/dywizji/filii"? Moim zdaniem w dużych, rozbudowanych organizacjach takie stanowiska istnieją (wiem z własnego doświadczenia, ale zobacz sobie też w guglu). Powyżej nich są dyrektorzy generalni organizacji, a poniżej cała chmara różnej maści kierowników, menedżerów, a nawet "pośledniejszych" dyrektorów.

Określenie "kierownik funkcyjny" zdarzyło mi się widzieć, "podwładnego funkcyjnego" nie - myślę, że "bezpośredni podwładny" zupełnie wystarczy.
Dlaczego nie może być "dyrektor generalny działu/dywizji/filii"? Moim zdaniem w dużych, rozbudowanych organizacjach takie stanowiska istnieją (wiem z własnego doświadczenia, ale zobacz sobie też w guglu). Powyżej nich są dyrektorzy generalni organizacji, a poniżej cała chmara różnej maści kierowników, menedżerów, a nawet "pośledniejszych" dyrektorów.
