tu: odszyfrować a złamać szyfr(deszyfrować) Explanation: Propozycja. IMO "decrypt" oznacza tu techniczne złamanie szyfru, czyli znalezienie klucza do niego, natomiast "decipher" jako odszyfrowanie/rozszyfrowanie oznacza odczytanie, czyli poznanie treści zaszyfrowanego tekstu. Pewność niewielka, ale na chłopski rozum: najpierw należy "decrypt" - złamać szyfr (czyli znależć klucz do odczytania tekstu), aby następnie "decipher - czyli przy użyciu owego klucza odczytać tekst, czyli odszyfrować, czyli poznać jego treść. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at   3 godz. (2008-11-24 17:23:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I see... Za: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/decrypting http://www.thefreedictionary.com/decipher Decrypt - convert code into ordinary language. To convert encrypted text into its equivalent plain text by means of a cryptosystem. (This does not include solution by cryptanalysis.) (Note: The term "decrypt" covers the meanings of "decipher" and "decode.") Decipher: to translate (writing in code) into ordinary, understandable language They deciphered the spy's letter. to make out the meaning of (something which is difficult to read) I can't decipher his handwriting. Webster: Decrypt - to decode or decipher Decipher - 1. to make out the meaning of poor or partially obliterated writing, etc, E.G. to decipher a manuscript. 2. to discover the meaning of anything obscure or difficult toi trace or understand, E.G. to decipher hierogltphoics, 3. to interpret by the use of a key, as something written in cipher, E.G. to decipher a secret message. (szyfr Cezara). Bardziej to zagmatwane niż sama Enigma... Ja bym tu jednak dała: Rozszyfrować/odszyfrować ew. odczytać >decipher vs deszyfrować (czyli zastosować klucz > decrypt HTH |
