Roszpunka / Rip Van Winkle Explanation: Rapunzel is a character from fairy tales - she was captured by a witch and kept in a tower, long blonde hair came into question here but I don't remember exactly who was climbing it and why. I think the name used in the Polish translation was Roszpunka. Rip Van Winkle is a literary character from a book by Washington Irving, his name is not translated (being a name) and he indeed slept 100 years. |
