English term or phrase: repair section

The element support bars shall be supplied as part of a repair section to the bottom 100 mm of the sector division plates. This is to ensure that sound material is available to weld to.

I teraz nie wiem, czy w ramach naprawy, bo umowa mowi o ocenie stanu technicznego podgrzewacza gazowego i wymianie elementow, m.in. szyn podtrzymujacych element, a wszelkie inne naprawy maja byc platne dodatkowo. W ramach naprawy najbardziej mi pasuje, ale przyznam, ze nie do konca rozumiem to zdanie. Naprawy dolnych 100mm? A moze "repeir section" to jakis utarty zwrot, ktorego nie moge znalezc?
