Polish translation:generatory do skojarzonego wytwarzania ciepla i energii elektrycznej
Explanation:
"Cogeneration or CHP (combined heat and power) is the simultaneous production of electricity and heat using a single fuel such as natural gas,...The heat produced from the electricity generating process (for example from the exhaust systems of a gas turbine) is captured and utilised to produce high and low level steam. The steam can be used as a heat source for both industrial and domestic purposes and can be used in steam turbines to generate additional electricity (combined cycle power).

I hope that "unit" is used meaning a single device, and not an heat-and-power plant.
So you can say:
--generatory skojarzonej gospodarki cieplno-elektrycznej;
--generatory do skojarzonego wytwarzania ciepla i energii elektrycznej;
--urzadzenia (agregaty) do skojarzonego wytwarzania ciepla i energii elektrycznej

"W"e’re also using a process called Cogeneration to make the CHUCK wagon even more efficient: the onboard generator is integrated with the thermal fluid and hot water systems to cogenerate 5 kW of electric power and 6 kW of heat."

jednostka produkująca w skojarzeniu

Explanation:
The clause would read - zainstalowano 130 jednostek pracujących w skojarzeniu.

A cogeneration (cogen) unit is one which produces both thermal and electric power in unison. It's what you find in CHP (combined heat and power stations) - elektrociepłowniach.
