I've only seen the word tomatillo used as a colour in Nike products. If your product is from Nike, I would leave it as "tomatillo". You also mentioned that there is a photo so it would be clear that it is a green colour.

If it is not Nike, then you can use "tomate verde" or even your looser translation of "verde abacate".
