Explanation:
Definição que mais vejo na indústria e perfeitamente usada. Basicamente é tanto quando a definição o diz, que o jogo funciona por turnos, ou apenas determinado segmento do jogo.
"...num jogo por turnos..."

Uma sugestão alternativa mas, a meu ver, menos viável, seria: "baseado/com base em turnos"
