English to Portuguese translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Insurance / Financial/Insurance
English term or phrase:$12 000 000
I came across the problem of converting money values when translating from American English to Portuguese. Usually, I use the convertworld.com to make these conversions of currency. However, the text is about the calculation of a ratio based on revenues and assets. It gives several values and the total sum is the nominator. Another value is given as the denominator. My doubt is: should I convert all the numbers or present them in dollars except when they are the total value (nominator and denominator)? Usually I would convert all the numbers and present the approximate value. But in this context, it would change the values of the company's income, right?
