esse termo é muito usado em real estate, para dizer que a casa/propriedade está a venda no estado que se encontra, ou seja, se ouver algum problema futuro, com manutenção/defeitos, o problema é do comprador.
Acredito que a mesma idéia se aplica a este caso, o software está a venda como está atualmente, qualquer problema futuro passa a ser responsabilidade do comprador.
