I am actually translating this term in relation to cinema, it was supposedly used by Eisenstein, but I guess there must be a parallell to the Law term : naked transfer.
As I understood it, naked transfer is the direct transfer of property between private parties (is it correct???), wich makes a good correlation to the meaning the author gives to it: the transfer of a theme or motif in a film from one medium to the other.
I have thought about "transferência direta", but would welcome any other suggestions, and certainly the exact translation into portuguese.
