Explanation:
Na primeira ocorrência da palavra eu traduziria como "antigo", ele também era muito antigo na organização ou ele também já estava há muito tempo na organização.

Na segunda ocorrência eu usaria "sênior" mesmo. Temos "programador sênior", "engenheiro sênior", etc. Indica que a pessoa já tem uma boa experiência em uma função.
