Very technical document.

Context: Pot Catch Position Adjustment in Relation to ATC Arm.

Can anybody help with the translation of "pot catch" in the sentence above (that is all the context I have)? It is found in a document describing the procedure to adjust positioning of axes, arms, etc.

One of the procedure steps reads:
"Measure the distance “a” between the ATC arm and the tool pot surface using a Vernier depth gauge"

I've found "pot" as "potentiomenter", but it doesn't seem to fit in the context.

Any ideas appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Here's what the FANUC Manual says:
"After the tool falling of the tool pot is completed, there must be little prolonged time(0.10.25 seconds) before the tool catching of arm. The purpose is to have sufficient air pressure inside the cylinder to avoid shaking of the tool pot while tool catching.
3. After the sensor of the tool unclamping or the tool clamping of the spindle claw is sensed, there could be some prolonged time if necessary. If the tool arm is proceeding the next action before the tool has been unclamped or clamped completely from spindle claw, tool might be forced to be pulled out or the tool might be falling."
Apparently, when the machine is changing to a new tool, it "falls" into the "pot" which holds it and it is secured by the "catch"
I worked on a robotic welding station manual that uses FANUC robots.
