Encontrei a seguinte explicação na Internet: The notch of great importance in cruciate injury means the groove in the femur through which the cruciates glide, and which tends to close up after injury, requiring to be widened (notchplasty).
Entendo a operação, mas quero saber como dizem "notchplasty" no Brasil.
