English to Portuguese translations [PRO]
English term or phrase:flatware
I want to know the meaning of " Food service flatware" .I don't have any information about it.
Explanation: It can ONLY be 'plates' i.e. 'pratos', and maybe it specifically refers to flat and not rounded (bowls)ones.
Food here should probably be taken in the sense of 'solid' food.
This is a bad case of using 3 words where one would do - sounds like a company brochure! If you wanted to make it sound more equivalent construct something on the lines of an equivalent to 'crockery' e.g. louça para servir/de serviço (or something similar)
