I'm afraid I didn't give enough context. That 'Economy of Light' in the text seems to be the name of a new era.
Explanation: As a name of a new age, the literal translation would be \\\"Economia da Luz\\\", but it sounds a bit strange.
If it refers to saving eletric power, Silvio gave you a good answer, but I should add that, at least in São Paulo City, \\\"Economia de luz\\\" e \\\"Conta de luz (light bill)\\\" are of commom usage. But the \\\"paulistas\\\" are known for their strange usage of some words.
