Aici este vorba despre discul de frână (rotor (eng)) care poate fi deteriorat dacă roata nu este bine strânsă pe prezoane cu ajutorul piuliţelor. Dacă echilibrarea nu se face corect, la frânare se simt vibraţii şi tremurături la volan.

Este o traducere mai lunga,dar daca traducerea este mai pretentioasa, atunci poate este util sa precizam ca prin forma ei constructiva - conica la capatul dinspre janta - acesta piulita este asigurata impotriva destrangerii.

Cred ca este bine sa nu trecem cu vederea folosirea lui "lug" in aceasta combinatiei.
Asadar propun mai concisa traducere : "piulite autoblocante"
