infractiuni si contraventii grave

Explanation:
misdemeanour = less serious crime

Explanation:
„High crimes and misdemeanors is a phrase from the United States Constitution, Article II, Section 4: "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

agree  Mihaela Ghiuzeli: Asta e "high crime". Cred ca trebuie sa impartim punctele. Eu am specificat-o ref. la Clinton dupa cum a cerut.
1 hr
  -> Aşa e :) Mulţumesc!

1 day6 hrs
  -> Am pornit de la cuvântul „high”, care aici are sensul de „against the State” şi nu se referă la gravitatea faptelor.

Famous "high crime" of lying under oath/perjury. It was based on Clinton's statement" I did not have sex with Monica Lewinski" which proved to be untrue.

Asker: Multumesc frumos, ati avut dreptate si am adaugat referinta in limba romana: crime ;i delicte majore. Am acordat punctele primului venit, ca sa spun asa!

infractiuni grave si mai putin grave

Explanation:
misdemeanor, or misdemeanour, in many common law legal systems, is a "lesser" criminal act. Misdemeanors are generally punished less severely than felonies; but theoretically more so than administrative infractions (also known as regulatory offenses).

In the United States, the federal government generally considers a crime punishable by a year or less to be a misdemeanor.[1] All other crimes are felonies.

Explanation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_crimes_and_misdemeanours

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct that do not fall under a more clearly defined impeachable offence; e.g., high treason. This charge occurs only in cases of parliamentary impeachment and is unrelated to any offence in criminal law.

as merge cu nivelul inalt
