De asemenea, fa un efort, sau alta expresie similara. (Ideea este ca, daca iti vei da osteneala, atunci... etc, etc).
Apply in sensul de a te prezenta pentru a solicita un job nu se foloseste la reflexiv (cu yourself), decat in eventualitatea putin probabila ca se doreste sublinierea diferentei fata de solicitarea unui job pt. o persoana de catre alta persoana (solicita tu, si nu un altul in numele tau). Repet, mi se pare foarte putin probabil ca aceasta sa fie traducerea.
In privinta lui "postuleaza", domnul Albu a spus ceea ce era de spus. S-ar putea sa se fi folosit candva in romaneste (postulant, cel care solicita o slujba sau altceva), dar nu mai este asa de mult.
